Sir Alex Ferguson’s Last Chewing Gum Sold For $600,000**WTF?!

*A piece of chewing gum purportedly to be the last used by Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager has reportedly sold for over $600,000.

Fergie, who was renowned for his chewing on the sidelines, oversaw the Red Devils’ last EPL game of the season yesterday, after 26 years at the helm of the club.
As he was celebrating his side’s
dramatic 5-5 draw with West Bromwich Albion, a fan laid claim to the bizarre souvenir and immediately offered it for auction on eBay, in a custom-made case.

The item description read:

“Used chewing gum: RARE. Recovered from The Hawthorns. Clear perspex/wooden case. Unofficial merchandise, rumoured to belong to Sir Alex.

After 1,500 games of intense chewing as manager of Man Utd, here lies Fegie’s last piece of chewing gum.

All proceeds go to the MU Foundation charity. Happy bidding.”

British newspaper The Metro has reported that the item sold for $608,000 overnight.
