Dangote Moves From 76th To 43rd Richest Man In The World**SoNice!


In the newly released world’s richest ranking by Forbes dated 4th March 2013, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, 55, has moved up from number 76 in 2012 to no 43. The President of the Dangote Group according to the list now has a net worth of of $16.1bn, retaining his position as Africa’s richest man. Globacom Boss Mike Adenuga, 59 also appears on the list at no 269 with a net worth of $4.7bn. Topping the list as world’s richest man is Carlos Slim Helu(and family), a Mexican telecoms giant, with a net worth of $73bn. Microsoft Boss Bill Gates of United States is second with a net worth of the $67bn, while Armancio Ortega of Spain, boss of popular fashion house Zara, is third place with a networth of $57bn. The list compiled by Forbes is based on the value of individual assets, including stakes in public and private companies, real estate, yachts, art and cash – and account for debt. Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Dr. Mike Adenuga were the only Nigerians on the list.
